Kay Miracle is an award winning, Americana singer songwriter, and a creative facilitator using songwriting for healing. She splits her time between both her homes in Upstate New York and Eastern Washington, and has taken to the rails as a train troubadour, touring from East to West. Kay's travels across America has inspired many songs from the places she has seen and the people she has met through her performances and music programs.
After performing around the globe for 8 years with the USO military tours, Kay became a certified creative facilitator using songwriting to support Veterans and those who have lost their voice through music. Kay’s songwriting for healing program “Blood to Ink” has been presented at various military bases, Veteran agencies, and community events across the country. Recently, Kay's program “Blood to Ink “ was featured on PBS, in a 2 part series called “Behind the Story” which can be found on YouTube.
In addition to her work with Veterans, Kay is an advocate for raising women’s voices through music, by telling their story through song. After a personal traumatic event, Kay’s belief in the power of a song for healing, became a true calling of the heart, which she shares throughout her music communities. As a board member for TeXchromosome radio, Kay found that the founder’s mission was in perfect alignment with her vision of helping women find their own unique voice through music.
